Stupet and Raset, Kongeparken
Foundations for the Stupet and Raset rides in Ålgård.
Ibetong’s contribution
Ibetong cast the foundations for Stupet in 2019 and Raset in 2023. We have also delivered other concrete structures at Kongeparken.
The gallery shows ring walls, reinforced footings and foundations, both during construction and with the rides in place. Photographs of Stupet include formwork around the tower; the Raset images show the track above its cast foundations.
About the project
Kongeparken in Ålgård is home to the Stupet and Raset rides. Stupet is a drop tower with an 80-metre drop. Raset is a roller coaster.
Visitors experience the rides above ground, while the concrete structures below form part of their foundations. This archive brings together Ibetong’s work for two different rides and other structures in the park.
