FV44 Bussvei Diagonalen
Retaining walls, culverts and foundations along the bus corridor.

Ibetong’s contribution
Ibetong delivered retaining walls, culverts and foundations along the route. Our project archive records 2020–2022 as the period of our work, rather than the duration of the entire road contract.
The photographs show concrete work in a confined construction corridor: wall formwork alongside sheet piling, pumping concrete and finished retaining walls with visible board texture. The foundations and walls form part of the infrastructure around the new bus route.
About the project
The section between Diagonalen and Gausel station is a 1.3-kilometre part of Stavanger’s Bussveien bus corridor. Rogaland County Council is the developer, with Stangeland Maskin holding the main contract.
Construction took place close to homes and live traffic. Stangeland describes work including underpasses, ramps, water and drainage infrastructure, and noise barriers. Its project report also highlights cooperation with Ibetong as a subcontractor.
